Rob Thomas, Jay Stanley, Brian Yale, John Goff and Paul Doucette. This Orlando, FL based band was best known for writing such hits as 3AM, one of the most performed songs of 1998 and '99. This site exists to record a unique moment in history when five talented friends came together, as if by fate, to make music. In 1995, through a well documented set of events, Jay and John parted ways with Rob, Brian and Paul, who went on to create music as Matchbox Twenty.
